KNAPP develops, produces, installs and maintains customer-specific high-tech material handling solutions. KNAPP operates worldwide, has over 8,000 employees and realizes a turnover of over EUR 2 billion. KNAPP Benelux (100 FTE) realizes sales, project support and service in the Benelux and is very successful in this. More than 70 projects have been realized in the Benelux, ranging from a simple zone-pick system to fully automated 'goods-to-person' installations. Our customers include Zalando, Kramp, Mediq, Stryker, Wehkamp, Bausch, Skechers, ICI Paris, DSV, Kühne Nagel and many others. This number will increase in the coming years, both in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The function.

Due to our growth, we want to expand our Benelux team with a Project Manager m/f/x. As Project Manager, you are responsible for leading projects from signing the contract to delivery.

Your main tasks are:

• Projects lead to successful delivery, in close cooperation with the international project team in Graz (A), responsible for engineering, production and commissioning.
• First point of contact for the local customer, the international project team and the local sales and customer service departments. Supervising the mutual division of tasks and jointly addressing stakeholders on responsibilities.
• Monitoring the project scope and identifying, assessing and following up on deviations (claim, risk and escalation management).
• Acting as a trouble-shooter and making suggestions for improvements.
• Drafting, monitoring and, where necessary, adjusting project documents, recording project progress and compiling and presenting progress reports.
• Act as on-site project coordinator.
• Close cooperation with Sales Engineering and Customer Service to ensure seamless project handling throughout the different phases.
• The above tasks require 40-70% travel (mainly Benelux).

You will report to the Head of Project Manager. There will also be close cooperation with the head office in Austria.

The candidate.

• You have at least completed a bachelor's degree. Project management training, such as PRINCE 2 or IPMA, is an advantage.
• You have 5 to 10 years of work experience as a Project Manager, with a strong preference for experience in intralogistics.
• Moves easily in a matrix organization with a remote head office.
• You have good analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills and you are dedicated, reliable, have a sense of responsibility and are highly stress-resistant.
• As a persuasive and connecting communicator, you have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written. German and (particularly verbal) is a plus.
• Given the geographical spread of our projects, living centrally in the Netherlands is an advantage.
• You are a pleasant person with a positive contribution to the team.
